ATE Solutions for HDD & ODD

1. ATE Testing/screening hardware system: Our Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) provides NFF screening and failure analysis for all SATA and PATA type drives, in any size format, found in laptops, desktops, set top boxes, external backup devices, games, PDA’s, and mass storage devices. The specs for the NFF screen are flexible and can be set with a tight OEM specs or eased up for a less restrictive yielding service based on your requirements. In other words, we can setup the OEM specs that only generate a high quality product, and fails any marginal drives by design. Or we can ease up the specs for a non-OEM type solution, creating higher yields to support high asset recovery or for out-of-warranty type programs. Additional solutions also exist for SCSI, Solid State (SSD), and USB-external subsystem type of products.

2. Engineering Software development: All code updates for new HDD programs or existing products are included for no extra fees. This feature significantly reduces your internal engineering support costs.

3. Health Monitoring Tools: Our equipment has internal Health Monitoring tools that continually monitor the performance of our equipment. These tools generate messages to us regarding the functioning of each module to be sure that they are both working and are also being used correctly by our onsite operators.

4. HDD yielding features: We provide software type “repair” or yielding features to the equipment so that we can get a higher yield for the hard drives we process for you. This value added feature is one of the primary differences between our ATE equipment and other Interface test equipment in the industry.

5. Data Wiping features: Inherent in the equipment are the data wiping features that occur on every drive as it passes through the Final Test sequence in our system. Should a customer demand a more intensive DoD level process, that option is built into the system as well. These options are established at the front end of the process to meet your Data Wiping requirements.

6. Database Management System: Our fully integrated Database Management System tracks flow of inventory and monitors quality control for all the products we test for the OEM customer. This reporting can include but is not limited to: Failure Analysis data, Serial Number tracking, NFF yielding information, operator through put tracking tools, etc

7. Site Server: This system is configured to provide a number of key communications features that help us monitor the performance of our equipment and manage reports for your various programs. In addition, all ECO type upgrades in the form of Code Releases for additional products support solutions, are delivered directly into the equipment installed at our site.

8. Remote Monitoring System: Our team continuously monitors the equipment through internet connection to the site server. We can see where problems may be occurring within either the ATE equipment, or within the DBMS tools. We can then upload fixes right into our system. This is a Global Solution allowing us to monitor the equipment wherever it is installed in the world.

9. Power Supplies, Optical Drives, and other solutions: We also provide testing / screening and Failure Analysis reporting solutions for other peripherals. We have run our test equipment alongside the actual testers that are provided by the factories that build these products for the OEM’s, and have found that our testing criteria are more advanced and therefore, preferred by certain OEM’s.
